Another Evolution

Susan B. Anthony (who got a raw deal in the coin department), Elizabeth Stanton, and  countless others struggled their entire lives so that women could obtain the right to vote.  In the process, the suffragettes were countered by the likes of Queen Victoria,Tammany Hall, Southern Democrats, Annie Oakley, etc.

About a century ago the suffragettes' dreams came to fruition; the 19th Amendment was passed, and women obtained the right to vote.

Fast forward one hundred years:

...and then there's this:

“S.E. Cupp is a lovely young lady who read too much Ayn Rand in high school and ended up joining the dark side,” the caption reads. “Cupp, an author and media commentator who often shows up on Fox News programs, is undeniably cute. But her hotness is diminished when she espouses dumb ideas like defunding Planned Parenthood. Perhaps the method pictured here is Ms. Cupp’s suggestion for avoiding an unwanted pregnancy.”

Both events happened within 36 hours of each other.

Women are still being attacked by for not thinking the right way.  This is what the war on women looks like.  If you don't have the same beliefs and aspirations of the Pelosi/Wasserman-Schultz cadre, you are fair game.

update: Planned Parenthood actually stood up for S.E. Cupp.  Some girl named Sandra Fluke gave some weird, disjonted tweet in support.  Maybe there is hope.
